5X5 Video Project
So, I was surfing around Vimeo the other night as I was trying to go to bed (unsuccessfully, mind you) and I came across this project called the 5X5 project.

Strange, flying a kite…. as an adult.
Liberating in a way to get out there and have pure fun, that doesn’t require the consumption of alcohol… although that could be fun too.
I recently received a kite for Christmas, and like a little child, I ran immediately outside and tried to fly it… I plan on doing more of that.
Don’t forget to enjoy life, people. No point in living if you’re miserable. Take a second to experience life like you did when you were a child, with no worries, stress, or responsibilities. Go get yourself a kite from the dollar store and fly it.

How to Photograph Lightning
The past couple of days have been nothing short on electric activity here in the AZ desert. z
The monsoons are rolling through and thunder storms are abundant. So, I took it upon myself to go shoot some lightning. After a few people saw my images, a common question became: “How did you take that?!”
So, I thought I’d slap a little know-how down for anyone that happens to have the same question.
Step 1. Get the right tools – Have a camera capable of manual controls. Have a tripod. And have an area that isn’t riddled with light pollution. . . Don’t be like my dad and crawl up on top of your roof during a lightning storm with your electronic devices, metal tripod, and body that is 80% water… It tends to lead to bad things.
