I often look to people who have overcome huge obstacles, or achieved things that the average person just can’t seem to make work, in order to try and better round myself as a human, but also as a business person.
Check out this video I stumbled across of Will Smith and his philosophy on life. I thought it was pretty damn good.
Some of the quotes I like are:
“There’s no reason to have a plan B, because it distracts from Plan A.”

In the video Art Williams talks about his thoughts on why winners win and losers lose.. Why “smart people” have a harder time winning at their goals than “dumb people” and the difference between a 50K / year earner and a 500K / year earner. I’ve got to say, it all pretty much makes sense now. I plan on watching this every time I feel like a victim of circumstance and/or feel like my motivation is waning.
So, go here and watch this video and take notes. And just so it doesn’t catch you off guard (if that kind of thing phases you), it’s got some religious content because he’s speaking to some of the worlds best known sales people…. TV evangelists. haha. But seriously, take a look because there is some gold to be found.
